What is Points Rummy?
Points Rummy is a quick 13-card format in which one deal produces a winner. Players draw and discard while arranging their hands into valid sequences and sets. The first valid declaration ends the deal.
For friendly, non-cash play, the points are simply the final scoreboard: zero for the winner and penalty points for every other player.

How the deal works
Deal 13 cards to each player, select a wild joker, and begin the draw-and-discard turns. A player must meet the standard declaration requirement: all cards grouped, at least two sequences, and at least one pure sequence.
- Winner: 0 points
- Other players: unmatched-card penalty
- Drops: use the group's agreed fixed penalty
- Invalid declaration: use the group's agreed maximum penalty

Scoring example
Neha declares a valid hand and scores zero. Arjun has 18 unmatched points, Suresh has 35, and Pooja has 12. The final table is Neha 0, Pooja 12, Arjun 18, Suresh 35.
Enter 0 for the declarer and each opponent's verified penalty, then save the round to preserve the result.

When to choose Points
Choose Points when the group wants a result quickly, players may join for only one deal, or you want a warm-up before a longer Pool game. If you plan to play several independent deals, save each one as a separate Points game or use Deals format for a combined result.
